Inspiring the Next Generation of Pilots

Elise Hammond, Air bp’s seventh Sterling Pilot Scholar recently completed her PPL with Blackbushe Aviation at Blackbushe Airport.

Currently studying Aerospace Engineering at Swansea University, 18-year old Elise shares her experience of completing her PPL and what it means to receive the Sterling Pilot Scholarship in this short but compelling video. She talks about her passion for aviation, her first solo flight and the excitement of her first qualifying cross country flight. Elise highlights the importance of scholarship programmes like Air bp’s, which has given her a stepping stone to ultimately pursue a career in commercial aviation. Well done Elise.
